Refund & Cancellation

This policy explains what happens to your money if a gift or a payment does not go through, or if you change your mind. It applies to purchases made through the Moi Circle app.

Cancelling a gift

You can cancel a gift you have paid for until the recipient claims it. Cancelling before the claim returns the full amount to the original payment method.

Unclaimed gifts

A gift that is not claimed before it expires is cancelled and the amount is refunded to the buyer’s original payment method. A gift that has already been converted into an investment is not refunded on expiry; it stays with the recipient.

Failed or duplicate payments

If money is debited but the gift is not created, or you are charged twice, the amount is refunded automatically to the original payment method.

Once a gift is claimed

After the recipient claims a gift, it belongs to them. Any sale or withdrawal of the investment is their own transaction, and the value on the day can be higher or lower than the amount gifted.

How long refunds take

Refunds are initiated within 2 business days and usually reach your account within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
